Exterior Lighting has been a proven deterrent to night time burglaries as shown by many police forces worldwide.
A brightly lit area makes a potential thief think twice before attempting to break in as the lighting highly increases the chances of them being seen.
Until now outdoor flood lighting has been considered expensive to run due to the high electricity costs of using High wattage halogen flood lights, now with LED technology at affordable prices we can offer outdoor flood lighting at very low electricity costs the same as running a small bulb in your home.
There are two main flood light options:
• Infa Red Motion activated lights (PIR) these will turn on the lighting when someone nears the
area that is defined by you with the sensor, It will stay on for a short time.
When someone approaches the area, the light turns on, enabling you to see who it is and at the same time deterring anyone from trying to gain access to your property.
It is also an important safety feature, when you approach your home it will light up the area so you can see if there is someone lurking in the darkness.
Sensor can be adjusted for the area you want it to detect, the length of time you want it to stay on for and what level of light outside it should be used on.
An addition that we at Yes Security offer with these Sensors is an option to use a switch to keep lights on for continued amount of time without using the sensor, in case of an outdoor party etc.
• Photo Cell Sensor (Dusk to Dawn activation) the lights are connected to a dusk to dawn sensor which turns on the light as soon as it starts getting dark outside and turns it back off in the morning when it gets light again.
Having the lights on all night is also very effective making the area visible and bright at the darkest of times. With the LED floodlights using such minimal electricity this has now become a very viable option for outdoor lighting.
